Who are we?

We are an European Law Unit, European and International Law Department.

What are the main tasks?

The activities that trainees are asked to carry out consist of doing legal research in relation to topics of EU, international and national law. Furthermore, they take part in evaluating of EU law compliance of draft legislation. Trainees also provide support in the process of negotiation of EU legislation and undertake some administrative tasks for task of the Department of European and International law.

What do we expect from you?

Law student, orientation in Czech and EU law, knowledge of English.

What knowledge and skills can you gain during the internship?

Practical knowledge of legal research in relevant areas. Abilities to monitor EU law compliance of national legislation. Ability to draft legal opinions. Practical knowledge of EU law, EU institutions and its decision making process.

What is the selection process?

The trainee will be selected based on his/her CV and interview.
