Unfortunately, you cannot go on an internship through WorkSpaceEurope. However, if your university participates in the Erasmus+ program, it most likely also offers the opportunity to go on a work internship. We recommend contacting the responsible coordinator at your university, who will gladly explain all the available options to you.
According to the Erasmus+ program rules, it is possible to complete a total of 12 months of study and internship abroad at each level of study (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD). This means that, for example, if you completed a 5-month Erasmus+ study or internship during your Master’s program, you still have 7 months available, as the months you have already completed are deducted from the maximum possible duration of 12 months.
Contact us by email or phone, and we will review your options.
You also obtain graduate status after successfully completing your bachelor’s final exams. However, this status is valid only until the day you enroll in the next program, at which point you become a student again. Therefore, you can undertake a graduate internship during the period after finishing your final exams and before enrolling in further studies.
Yes, our services are free of charge. We are not an agency, but a civic association that collaborates with universities to raise awareness about Erasmus+ internships and to assist students throughout the entire process.
As a graduate, you have 12 months from the completion of your final exams to go abroad and complete an internship. For example, if you finish your exams in May 2025, this means that your internship must be officially completed by May 2026. However, the exact timing of when you decide to go abroad during that year is up to you.
The financial contribution is not subject to taxation. It does not need to be declared on your tax return.
Yes, you can stay longer at an internship in the same organization if you have “available months for mobility under the Erasmus+ program.” The Erasmus+ rule states that at each level of study, you can complete a maximum total of 12 months of mobility (study + internship).
Regarding the financial contribution, it is usually provided for a maximum of 3 months. Any additional months you spend at the internship will need to be funded from your own or other sources.
In such a case, it is necessary to submit an official request to us (an email is sufficient) for early termination of the internship, with a clear justification. We will review your request and provide a response. Early termination of the internship is only possible due to force majeure. The intern is also required to return a proportional amount of the granted financial contribution.
If you voluntarily registered as a job seeker after completing your studies, it is important that you are not removed from the job seekers’ registry during your internship. If you are removed, you would be required to pay monthly health insurance yourself. An internship is considered an educational activity within international programs for education and labor market preparation. Before starting your internship, we recommend visiting the employment office in your city of permanent residence in person to discuss your situation. You can find the necessary information here.
